HEATWAVE!

Um, probably the best news I've seen in the past months.

Forecast from weather dudes:
Presidents' Day: Partly cloudy, with a high near 46.

WOOHOO! After the coldest streak I can ever remember, it seems we might get a break next week. I have been dreaming about summer lately - truly. On Tuesday, I spent a good 10 minutes outside simply attempting to open my car door. Completely frozen shut. And then upon opening it (after body slamming it repeatedly for those 10 minutes), I had to shovel a good 6 inches of snow off my whole car, dig out the tires from the snowplow's leftovers, scrape another inch of ice off my car, and then suffer through an icy blast from my defroster as I drove to school in the single digit temperatures. If I haven't said it before (with THICK sarcasm), I love Nebraska.

Well, if you'll excuse, I'm going to go sit in front of the vent. Peace out.

Just think, though. When you're old and wrinkly you can tell your grandkids "whyyy, I remember back in the winter of aught seven it was so cold I don't like you the end."

Because by then you'll be mixing actual memories with random tv show quotes from back in the day.

Lovelove.
