Anyway. I'm a bit giddy and scared. I just got my first reference for graduate school - my Creative Writing professor from last summer. I'm so incredibly happy because she was my first choice of reference. So...here we go I guess! It's actually happenening.

One of my friends from freshman year and I got together last night...wondering how it was possible that we are graduating. Wondering how the hell we became old enough to apply to graduate school. It's like senior year of high school all over again...*shakes head with disgust*. The applications, the references, the resumes, the personal statements, the application fees, the waiting, the wishing, the dreaming, the reality checks, the fuzzy so-overwhelmed-with-schoolwork-i-want-to-run-away feelings... WawaWEEwa.

In other news. I'm seriuosly considering quitting my job at the end of the year. I'm hoping to get my job back at the residence halls for next semester - just one night a week for like 4 hours or something. That's a little spending money, and I actually somewhat enjoyed that job. If I'm gonna get paid shit (aka the same amount the bookstore pays me to bust my bum), I might as well be able to do homework, wear whatever I want, and not be forced to "meet and greet within 10 feet". Even if the bookstore said I could cut my hours to 5 hours a week, that place is just going downhill... I'm feeling guilty though because I've never quit a job without the reason of "moving". In reality though, I need as much time as possible next semester to finish up applications and do my thesis project. So I feel a bit justified.

Well. That is all. Oh yeah - no study abroad photo finals for me...I didn't win a single category of the four. Bummer. Oh well, I still like my photos. :) Aight. Peace and love to ya loves. I've got work to do.
