And I'm BACK IN THE GAME! (I think I've already used this title once).

I declare . . . BANKRUPTCY! Ok, actually not. But I do declare this the grand re-opening of my blog. I got LAZY over the summer/"fall", yo. And I miss posting photos or poems or silly words - i LOVE the silliness.

S - Start. Monday is my start date at the new job - orientation day. Although I get to spend the entire day with HR going over my retirement plans, so that I can live comfortably when I'm 40. Oh. Is that not when you get to retire? 42?

I - Insurance. Apparently I need it, especially so I can get some of that laser eye surgery and still get hit by cars. Now if someone could just tell me what the hell all of the mumbo jumbo in these benefits packages means, that would be FANtastic.

L - Lillehammer. It's in Norway. I know this because I took a World Traveler quiz and I am an expert.

L - Laughing. A lot of this has been taking place in our home, thanks to How I Met Your Mother: Season 2. "Hello!"

I - Interstates. That past few weekends have been filled with them: 17, 10, 5, . . . San Diego and Oceanside (before the wildfires), Flagstaff, and Flagstaff revisited. There were sea lions involved, Arrested Development marathons, the baking of vegan foods, and oddly enough - a man wearing a bear skin, hanging out a second-story window, drinking a large glass of wine at 11 a.m. and throwing paint balls at unsuspecting parade participants.

N - Numerous. The amount of new books either on my shelf or on Kristen's shelf or in our living room that I am excited to read! And P.S., Bookman's is probably the greatest second-hand book store/record store/film store/poster store/magazine store . . . ever!

E - Eat. Where? Food. Good. Okay, so tonight my sis and I are going out to dinner to celebrate the fact that I will no longer be able to use the phrase "Well, today on Ellen . . ." I'm supposed to pick the restaurant. Okay, you can help me here: Brewery, Pizza, or "Sonoran Cuisine" (a.k.a. Mexican). You think Beer, too?

S - Seven. The ungodly hour at which I will soon have to rise to catch the bus for that thing I was once so excited about: work.

S - Stop. Like at the end of a telegram, but this time at the end of a blog. Peace and paychecks, bloggers

Working for the Man . . .

Actually, a bunch of women. And SOOOOOOO happy about it! :)

49 applications. 11 job interviews. 4 job offers. 1 that finally felt good. :)

So the self-imposed ban is lifted, and I am allowed to blog again. I made a deal with myself that I could not blog until I got a job - I was only looking out for you guys, you know. So you wouldn't get anymore of those pointless or frighteningly boring blogs. And so, I am the newest employee at Arizona State University!

This came at a WONDERFUL time, as I have only enough rent for November, and that's only without food and other luxuries. Also, November is when I must start paying back my student loans. So really - a paycheck will be MUCH appreciated. Thank you, God. For serious.
